Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

I am sure many of you weren't very happy to see the snow on Monday morning, as you had to clean it off your cars before driving to work. The children love the snow, so here is a little reminder of the positive side of snow...smiling children!

Some of the children tried to build a fort.  I'm not sure if you can see it in this picture.

We got the mighty magnets out and the children made some interesting creations...

Puppies!

Anthony and Lillian's grandparents have puppies.  Grandma wanted to bring them to school to show Anthony's kindergarten class, then they stopped at day care on the way home!
I don't know if mama knows where her babies are going!

The puppies were tired from their kindergarten visit.

They started to wake up as the children touched them.

                                                       Everyone got to hold one!

                                                  Allie's puppy was frisky!
The puppy Bronwynn was holding fell asleep on her!

Oden was so gentle.  He really enjoyed the puppies.

Thanks Grandma and Aunt Melanie for bringing the puppies for us to see!  We enjoyed our visit!

Making Bird Feed!

They were so eager to start mixing up suet for the birds!

Wyatt poured peanuts into the peanut butter and mixed them up.

We tried something new; Lillian poured barley into it, and mixed it.  Not sure if birds like barley, but I had some in the cupboard.

Tristian added sunflower seeds so quickly that I didn't get a picture, then he stirred it.
Lillian wanted to keep stirring, and the boys enjoyed picking up all the sunflower seed that had fallen on the table!  Great team work.

Here we were looking at our bird feed to see if the birds had come.  Can you see the green feeder?  It is really camoflauged in this picture!
I went back outside to show you our finished product.  Looks yummy (if you're a bird!)
I guess this might be the view the birds get while they are eating.  There is Lillian and Wyatt on the inside of the window!

More Hallowe'en Pictures

Hallowe'en crowns, and face paint!

Yummy, those creepy cat cupcakes were good.

I brought cups to the kitchen, and came back to find Lillian cleaning Oden's face.  Too cute!

Monster Finger Painting

Look closely at their green monster fingers!

Quiet day back at day care!

Allie and Wyatt are mixing toys up today!  They have the construction site inside the Dora house, and Wyatt is driving a tractor and wagon carrying a cow inside.

At book time, Wyatt brought a pillow and blanket to lay on, and Allie curled up beside him!

I'm getting the hang of this!

Thank you for checking out my blog.  I was successful in getting back into my blog, and I was even able to turn my first picture around so now it is straight! (Just ignore my note about the sideways picture that I sent home with this address.)  I'm so anxious to get started so here are a few pictures...

Black and orange day!

Rapheal (Tristian - dressed as the red Ninja Turtle).
Love the homemade costume, Mom.  Note the red scarves sewed onto his green pants!

It's Anthony's turn to bob for apples!

Hallowe'en Menu

Well, here it is! My new blog. I am so excited to start sharing a little bit more about how your child(ren) spend their days at day care with me. Please send in your permission slips so that I can post photos of them at our party!
I hope you will enjoy this, and please check back often!
Swamp Water!
Creepy Cat Cupcakes
Bobbing for apples sure can be tricky.  It amazes me how the children can take a bite out of the apple, but not get it out of the water.  Fun!
