Day Care Dance Party!

What to do on a rainy icy day?
Push the table back, put on some fast fun kids music, and hand out fabric scarves!
We had a great time!   Everyone got hot and took off some layers - even saw some rosey cheeks!
Great way to burn off some energy.

Doctor

The children are enjoying the doctor gear!  Dr. Allie is giving Bronwynn some medicine.
                                                  Anybody know this doctor?
Not sure why nurse Bronwynn looks so upset with Dr. Allie.
                                                            A happy Dr. Lillian.
Everyone is busy trying to heal patient Bronwynn.  I love to see them all playing together.
Our intern Dr. Oden is busy using the tweezers.

Not doctor related, but Anthony had another creation he wanted to share on the blog!

Ginger Cookies!

I've been wanting to get some photos of the children baking on the blog, but often baking time is crazy!  And I never have anyone else to take pictures while I help the children bake.  The cold weather this week worked to my advantage.  Will drove the school age children out to the bus which gave me extra time to bake.  A few parents also dropped their children off after bus time because their jobs allowed the flexibility, and they didn't want their children outside (don't blame them!).  So it was just Allie and Lillian, and we made ginger cookies.

Allie mixed the wet ingredients while Lillian mixed the dry.
Here are the cookies after they finished helping me roll them into balls.  Busted... there was a little dough left, so they each had a little taste - look at those faces!!
We all got to try a cookie for afternoon snack.  Yum!

Day Care Creations!

One of the older children made this tower.  I took a picture of it and then it started....
... Allie wanted me to take a picture of her snowman.
.... Bronwynn wanted me to take a picture of her cake!
                                            Lillian made a big cake.
                                                   Noah made a tower.
"Mom, take a picture of my castle for the blog!"
Bronwynn made a snail.  (I forget what she told me it was yesterday when I took the picture, but today she says it's a snail.)
                                           Another of Anthony's creations.
Here is a tower Tristian made for me.  After the photo, one of the other children broke it.  He had a really (fake) angry face and he said, "You broke Nancy's tower!!"
Lillian made a train out of chairs!
Bronwynn and Anthony still busy creating.
Look closely at Anthony's last house.  He said, "It's the same house, but now it has a porch on it!"
Look at the detail of Bronwynn's creation.

What will they do next?...

A little bit of everything!

We made snow peole for art.  Anthony cut all of his own pieces out.
Oden enjoyed gluing.

Allie's snow person is all in a clump!

Bronwynn did a great job making a snow peron!  I love how she didn't stay confined by the edge of the paper.
While I was taking pictures of the children's art, Bronwynn said, "Can you take a picture of me and the miano"!!

I wasn't quite fast enough.  The girls are playing hair dresser.  I'm not sure if they meant to make a waiting room, but Oden was looking at a book, and it looks like Lillian is waiting too!

I love the new hairstyle!!  What a beautiful pose, Allie!

Christmas Holiday Fun!

Here we are on the big snow bank.  The children loved playing on this!

Pyjama Day!  I enjoyed seeing everyone in their pjs!

P.S. A huge thank you to Kelly (Tristian's mom) for showing me a different way of getting pictures on here.  It takes a little longer, but at least I can get back to updating the blog for all of you.

Technical Difficulty:(

I got some great shots of the children over the last few days of the Christmas Holidays, but blogger won't let me upload them.  This is the second time(/day) I have tried.  Please check back again, I hope to add some new pictures soon.
