Play dough
We got the play dough out again. Since Edison wasn't here last week, the first thing he did was taste it! Then Freya thought she should try it too. I told them "no, yucky", and now they are busy trying to cut it with the plastic knives. Oden is even making worms and balls. So glad to be using play dough again. The kids love it!

A couple photos...
Oden enjoyed mixing the colours of play dough together. Below, Dr. AJ was available to see patients today. He put Lillian to bed with a blanket and told me, "Shhhh." Way below is Freya playing with the boogie board. She loves to use writing utensils.
A chubby little snowman....
Here are the words to our favourite finger play....
A chubby little snowman had a carrot nose
Along came a rabbit, and what do you suppose?
That hungry little bunny, looking for some lunch....
ATE the snowman's carrot nose. Nibble, nibble, crunch.

Play dough
Thanks, Will for driving kids to bus this morning. (And Jenn for offering!)
We had extra time and got the play dough out and had a great time. It is getting old and dried out, but they had fun mixing colours. Nobody tried to eat it, so we are getting to an age where we can do these activities more! Making new play dough is always a fun activity.
As soon as we put the play dough away all the 'regular' toys were mouthed though!

Cold weather won't stop us!
What a cold and blustery day out there. I had only big kids for the walk out to the bus this morning. It was neat for me to watch them. (They often run up ahead me and the younger ones). Carson pulled each one of them in the sled with all the back packs. As each one was asked to give the next a turn, there was no arguing. They just took turns and then ran with Carson if it wasn't their turn for a ride. When we reached the bus shelter, I was so thankful for the chance to get out of the wind, but they all got dump trucks and shovels out and built a road together. (We'll, Carson laid down fir a break first!) We were all covered except for our eyes peeking out. And they didn't even feel the cold. They just enjoyed each other's company!!

Brrrrr
What a cold week we've been having. We have been bundling up and making our walk shorter. I was so grateful this morning when AJ's mom called and offered to drop him off later and drive the kids out to the bus. Thank you, Jenn!

Welcome back!!!
I am so excited to share some pictures with you! We got an IPad as a family gift, and my family are all at school or work, so I actually get a turn on it! I took some pictures to share with you!
